David Lane Memorial Raffle!
The ShieldWall Network is holding a fundraiser featuring a raffle for David Lane‘s personal prison dictionary with his own handwritten notes inside.
In honor of the 10th anniversary of David Lane’s death, and in memory of his courageous contributions to our people both before and after his imprisonment, we are offering these personal items to just a few lucky winners.
This paperback edition of “The American Heritage Dictionary” was used so much by the Order member and author of the Fourteen Words until he died that it was patched by him with masking tape along the back spine. It also features a masking tape label on which he hand wrote: “Personal Property, David Lane, 12873-057 (his prison number at the Federal Maximum Security at Florence, where he died in 2007).
On the top, bottom, and side of the book he wrote “Lane”. In front on the inside his handwritten notations include his own research into the medical diagnosis which would prove fatal: “Seizure, Quadilateral, Trapezoid”. In the back, more of his handwritten notations document the sunrise and sunset of the winter solstice, and the length of that day.
The first prize winner in the raffle drawing will receive David Lane’s personal dictionary.
The next five raffle tickets drawn will each win a personal hand-written letter from David Lane to Billy Roper.
This raffle drawing will be held on Saturday, May 20th, at the ShieldWall Network Arkansas Original group meeting. Those who order raffle tickets between now and then online will also be entered into the raffle to win, as well as those who purchase raffle tickets in person at the meeting.
There is a limit of ten (10) raffle tickets per person for this raffle, please.
You may enter the raffle by giving a donation in ten dollar increments through Paypal to roper_billy@yahoo.com. Each ten dollar increment will grant you one raffle ticket in the raffle.
You also may mail the $10 per raffle chance to Billy Roper, P.O. Box 1937, Mountain View, Arkansas, 72560, as cash or a personal check drawn on a U.S. bank in U.S. dollars, if you’d like, so long as you let us know via e-mail that you have done so, that way we can enter you in the drawing.
The deadline for purchasing raffle tickets for this fundraiser is midnight ending Friday, May 19th. Each ten dollar increment will grant you one raffle ticket in the raffle.
