To illustrate how little most flaggots know or care about the difference, or the origin of either holiday, I alternately will refer to this weekend as “Memorial Day” and “Veteran’s Day”, and see if anyone notices…

I write lots of articles here that wind up being triggering. Some of them actually surprise me in how much triggering they cause. For instance, I wrote a piece up quite some time back about some sad college slattern that drank herself to death. The triggering ran the blog site traffic up to all time highs. It turns out that pointing out that it’s a bad thing that our degenerate society has reached the point where someone such as this drinks herself to death is much worse than the fact that her friend posted a pic of her corpse on Instagram. Who knew?

With all of that having been said, I know going in that this article will be very triggering. Some of these things I can just blow through when I write them and know that my point will get across as you would have to be brain dead not to get it. With this piece however, I will have to spell things out very clearly to make my point.
Here in America, today is Veterans Day. It’s the day when we pay honor to those who served in the military in general. Memorial Day is reserved for those who served and died in the line of duty. Beyond posting some flag pictures online, most people will celebrate this day by simply going about their business, perhaps having a cook out and buying an extra case of beer for their friends who are coming over. Politicians will make a few speeches and some towns will hold parades, giving veterans a chance to wave at the crowd and be thanked for their service. This is all well and good I suppose but Grandpa Lampshade believes we need to honor our veterans by going a little further. Namely, by speaking the truth. After all, supposedly they fought so that we would have the freedom of speech, right?

So let me pose the uncomfortable question that you’re not supposed to ever ask. We are told all of the time that freedom isn’t free and the reason we’re free here in ‘Murica! is because of all of the wars we’ve fought to keep us free. So I ask: when was the last time we actually fought a war to defend our nation and to keep us free?
Over the past several decades, we have been fighting multiple wars in the Mid East against brown desert people but does anyone actually believe that has anything to do with defending ‘Murica!? Our politicians obviously don’t, as at the same time they have worked feverishly to import these same brown desert people into the country. Imagine if during WWII the government worked as feverishly to import Japanese into America while at the same time waging war against Japan. Any thinking person who looks at these wars logically and not emotionally winds up being forced to come to the conclusion that these wars are being fought at the behest of and for the benefit of Israel. In what turns out to be a twist of further irony, these wars have actually been used as an excuse to curb the actual freedoms that we’re supposedly fighting to protect. Now, you may think that fighting multiple wars for the sake of greater Israel is something that’s worth doing. However that doesn’t change the fact that these wars have nothing to do with defending our so called freedoms.

What about Vietnam? We were all told that if we didn’t stop the Commies in Vietnam then we’d all be speaking Russian or Vietnamese or some shit in no time at all. Now? President Trump is in Vietnam talking trade deals. Here’s something I suggest you do: go find an actual combat vet from Vietnam and see if he will tell you what a shit show that was. I have spoken with these guys. They were left out in the jungle starving and eating snakes and rats for weeks. Why? Because all of their food rations were sold back in town on the black market. The next time you think you are doing your patriotic duty by thanking some random Vietnam vet for his service, just remember you may be thanking the asshole who sold the food rations for some extra spending cash. The bottom line is even though at this point nobody can actually tell us what the hell the point of that war was there is one thing for sure: it damned sure wasn’t for our freedoms and to protect our way of life.

Sure it sucks that those guys died and all but hey, on the bright side they got their names on a wall and now we can expand the global corporate economy.
Next stop: Korea. After just a few short years the Communists were transformed from our dependable allies against Fascism to our mortal enemies who wanted to rob us of our ‘Murican way of life. Never mind that Hitler’s main goal in fighting Stalin was stopping the spread of Communism, now it was our job to stop the spread of Communism and Korea was the line in the sand snow. Guys froze in the snow, fighting the elements and hostiles and in the end, it was a draw. Korea remains divided today and the war has never officially ended. Now granted, I’ll be the first to say that South Korea is a much better place due to the efforts of those who fought and died to protect it. And even though I am quite grateful that I am able to enjoy the top quality level of Korean dramas that I am today due to South Korea not being a backward Communist state, there is no way you can distort this into somehow being about our freedoms and muh democracy .

If our soldiers hadn’t fought and died to protect South Korea, I’d have never been able watch Goblin. Yes, I’m grateful and all but was it worth it? I dunno fam.
What about WWII? Yes, this is often referred to as “The good war”, as though they are basically admitting that all of these others were bullshit. Even before coming to power, Hitler spoke about how dangerous Communism was to Europe. Hitler fought to stop Communism from taking over Europe. Who did America side with? Stalin. After winning the war, suddenly we were told that Communism was a danger to Europe and we had to spend enormous amounts of money to stop Communism from taking over Europe. Wouldn’t it have been easier to simply not support Stalin? I’m not even talking about joining Hitler here, all we had to do was not support Stalin and Hitler would have been in Moscow before winter ever started. “Yes but Hitler was allied with the Japanese and those damned nips bombed Pearl Harbor for absolutely no reason but because they hated ‘Murica! and wanted to take over our freedoms and make us serve some slant eyed Emperor.” Yeah well, I suggest you look into that sometime. ‘Murica! was blockading Japanese ships on the high seas trying to cut off their fuel supplies for their war effort against China. In case you’re not aware of it, by every definition of the fact ever in the history of the world, blockading another country’s ships on the high seas is considered an act of war. “But Hitler and the Japs were eventually going to invade ‘Murica and make us serve the Master race!”

Yeah, about that.
I used to by puzzled over why it was that Japan had to be targeted. I understood (eventually) that war against Germany was at the behest of the Jews but why Japan? Then I read Mein Kampf and Hitler explained years before the war ever broke out that an Empire of yellow Asians could never be allowed to exist for the simple fact that while the Jew can masquerade as a German or an Englishman, he could never pass himself off as a yellow Asian. Amazing isn’t it?
We could keep going but to be honest, ‘Murica! has fought so damned many wars, I would wind up turning this into a novel instead of a simple article about the topic at hand. In actuality, you can make a pretty good argument that every single war that ‘Murica! has ever fought has had little or absolutely nothing to do with protecting our way of life. This is just a fact. It may trigger you emotionally but it’s a fact, nonetheless.

One of the things that makes speaking to these truths so difficult is that people come away with the feeling that you are disrespecting those who served in the military and fought these wars. After all, doesn’t it look like they were all a bunch of suckers for giving up their lives for a lie? Again, ask anyone who has actually served in combat. When they are hunkered down exchanging fire with an enemy, they aren’t fighting for freedom and democracy, they are fighting to keep their friends and themselves alive. Were the excuses for these wars pretty much complete fabrication? Yes but these guys didn’t know that and even if they did, they were ultimately going to be forced to go fight anyway.
Do you know why we are encouraged to feel uncomfortable pointing out these truths? Do you know why it is we are told that by pointing out these truths we are disrespecting those who died in these wars? Because those who told those lies back then are the same group of people who are lying to us today. These soldiers’ lives were forfeit so that a relatively small group of ((global elite)) could profit and gain more power. As though this weren’t bad enough, even after death these same ((elite)) are using these dead soldiers to keep you from looking at the truth and trust me, it’s not because they give a damn about the memory of our veterans. No, they care not about that any more than they did when they sent them off to fight in wars that had nothing to do with protecting ‘Murica!. What they fear is the same thing they always fear: accountability. What they fear is that you will stop singing “God Bless America” and waving your flags long enough to hear the voices of the dead calling out from the grave. The voices of those calling for justice.
