Wal-Mart Antifa Merchandise

Many of us took notice of the pictures being shared on social media of the Antifa merchandise being peddled by Walmart through their online store. I was shocked and appalled much like the rest of you, so I decided to take action.

My first step was to call my district state representative and inform them that this company, which is based in my home state of Arkansas, was selling Antifa merchandise and reminding them that Antifa is classified as a domestic terrorist organization.  The secretary I spoke with was unaware of the issue but understood my concern.  She informed me that she would pass the message along as well as asked if I had spoken with Walmart about it. I told her I had not and would do so immediately.

After thanking her, I called Walmart customer support and navigated the directory. After five minutes I was connected with a representative. I asked him about the issue and he confirmed that the company had indeed carried the product line but had been made aware of it and, therefore, dropped it. I was told Walmart was owning up to their mistake and apologizes over the matter.

It appeared many people had been phoning in with complaints over this and the public outcry was enough to make the corporate giant take heed.
