GoFundMe declares the Bill of Rights “racist”!

https://www.gofundme.com/help-us-defend-the-bill-of-rights/

This is the entire, exact text of the Bill of Rights rally gofundme page, which featured a picture only of the Bill of Rights:

On March 24th, 2018, supporters of our Bill of Rights will be holding a patriotic rally at noon on the Bentonville Square in Bentonville, Arkansas.  If you are able to attend this event to provide an alternative perspective to the attacks on the second amendment, we encourage you to make plans to be there with us!

If you are not able to attend because of the distance involved to travel or your work schedule, and are unable to join a peaceful patriotic rally to defend the second amendment on  that day near you, then we would appreciate your gracious help. Funds for travel expenses such as fuel, food, and lodging, as well as for making and distributing flyers and signs, would be very welcome. Please help in any small way you can, as we stand up for the Bill of Rights on March 24th. Let us be your voice! Thank you for your donation!

That’s it. There’s no mention of race at all, or hatred, or violence. And yet, the WePay funding service attached to gofundme has said that they will not process funds donated through the fundraiser, and will refund those which already have been donated, because:

“It seems you’re using WePay for one or more of the activities prohibited by our Terms of Service. Unfortunately, you can’t use WePay to accept additional payments. Any pending payments will be canceled and you won’t be able to withdraw funds at this time.

More specifically:

We are unable to process payments for hate, violence, racial intolerance, or the financial exploitation of a crime

Thank you for understanding and we apologize that we couldn’t offer a better solution.

Sincerely,
WePay Team”

I filed an appeal to their customer service support, then got an e-mail back (from them) saying they didn’t process requests for reviews any longer, giving me a link to another page for wepay, which I followed and jumped through the hoops to file a complaint. I don’t expect satisfaction.

SO, if you would like to help out with the financing of the Bill of Rights rally, please send cash or check made out to Billy Roper to P.O. Box 1937, Mountain View, AR., 72560. Or, you can give a gift via paypal to roper_billy@yahoo.com. Thanks!
