Prince Harry’s Choice

by Paul Jones

I think a lot of white persons, whether they let others know their thoughts or not, must have been taken aback by the recent picture in the news of Meghan Markle and her mother, Doria Ragland.

While Meghan can almost pass for white, the reality is that if she and Prince Harry have children it’s very likely that any offspring will have clearly mulatto features based on the negroid looks, including kinky hair, of Meghan’s mother. So the royal family, which traditionally is supposed to set the tone for British culture and life style, is now sending the message to all inhabitants of the island that if royalty can now include mulattos, how can anyone else object to having one’s family member marry a person of African descent?

Who would have thought several decades back after the end of W.W. II that this was what all the British soldiers on the beaches of Dunkirk or pilots in the Royal Air Force had been fighting for, those pilots to whom “never was so much owed by so many to so few.”  Was their struggle to ensure that the United Kingdom would eventually be on its way to a darker and darker future, culminating in the royal family having one of its own marry a negress?

As the popular song from 1939 says, “There’ll always be an England.” Maybe there will be, but as things are going it will be an England in name only, as the country gets more and more divorced from its glorious past, which all of us of at least partial British descent living in the United States hearken back to.

The saying, “The darkest hour is just before dawn,” hopefully applies now to the British Isles, because this royal wedding soon to take place is certainly a dark event. Whether now Great Britain is inexorably on its way to a mulatto future still remains to be seen, and unfortunately the same question is being asked as far as the United States as well. We can’t do much to affect Great Britain at this point, but it is an object lesson of the path we must not go down here if we are to have any hope for the survival of persons of European descent living in our own country.
