Carpetbaggers, Scalawags and a Good Ole Boy

by Paul Jones

The post-W.W. II era, that has involved the process of the final takeover of U.S. society and government by Z.O.G., has often been termed the “Second Reconstruction” as far as the South goes.

As all are aware, there was a seemingly powerful and entrenched Southern power structure involving an alliance between whites of the upper and upper-middle classes with those whites in the lower and lower-middle classes throughout the times of the segregation laws established once the Union armies left occupation of the South by 1876. There had been hordes of Carpetbaggers-Northerners, some of them Jews, who had come down to the South to take advantage of the confusion and turmoil caused by the disastrous defeat of the South in the Civil War. There had also been a good number of Scalawags-Southern whites who had “sold their souls to the Devil” and joined the Carpetbaggers in the plunder of the prostrated South. However, thanks to the rise of the Ku Klux Klan and white resistance of all sorts, Reconstruction thankfully ended in failure.

This was not allowed to continue following the end of World War II, and it was thanks to a new type of Carpetbagger and Scalawag, who also have taken advantage of the occupation of not only the South, but the entire country, by the conquering “armies” of the Jewish elite who have taken over almost all the culture influencing organisms of society, from education to entertainment, politics to religion.

A recent example of this can be seen in the vote by 6-1 of the Roanoke, Virginia City School Board on July 16, 2018 to change the name of Stonewall Jackson Middle School. Subsequently there was a 5-2 vote to change the name to John P. Fishwick Middle School, the new name to honor a former graduate of Stonewall Jackson who became an executive of Norfolk and Western Railway and served in the U.S. Navy. “The Roanoke Times” reported that Fishwick “advocated for promotion of minorities and women.”

Roanoke is in Southwest Virginia, one of the whitest areas of the country, but I wanted to check on the statistics for the school itself. Going on GreatSchools.com, I read that the latest demographic information of the school for the main categories is the following:

Whites: 51%; Blacks: 22%; Hispanics: 14%; Asians: 7%; Mixed of more than one race: 4%

However, according to “The Roanoke Times,” “The Middle School is racially and ethnically diverse, with 45 percent of the student population being African American or Hispanic, and 48 percent white based on the 2017-18 school year data.”

The School Board has two Black members, the Chairwoman, Annette Lewis, and Lutheria Smith. So these were two votes “in the bag.” So let’s look at the other members:

The only vote against change, by a true White Southerner at heart, was James Hopkins, who said the following: “There was never a significant groundswell for the name change. As for the community that was served by Stonewall Jackson Middle School, they were overwhelmingly opposed to making the change.”

According to information found in “The Roanoke Times,” “Discussions started in Sept., 2017 after the violence in Charlottesville.” The newspaper further reports, “Those in support of the name change called it an opportunity to reshape a role model for future generations. They also hoped this would be a step toward a more unified community, without the chance for controversy.” However, Hopkins argued Jackson is worthy of the honor. “He was not a politician. He did not make policy. He was a soldier, and he was one of this state’s greatest soldiers and one of this country’s greatest soldiers,” Hopkins said. “He was a Virginian, and Virginia voted to secede. He did what he was asked to do as a citizen of this commonwealth.”

In other words, except for the lone holdout Hopkins, the other Whites on the Board caved in. Now using the criteria of Carpetbaggers and Scalawags, let’s see how these School Board members fit:

  • William B. Hopkins, Jr., Good Ole Boy: He graduated from Washington and Lee and has a Juris Doctor from William and Mary. Among other activities, he’s a member of the Mill Mountain Zoo Board. Probably he is the only one that could listen and respond emotionally to the Country and Western song, “Good Ole Boys Like Me” by Don Williams, that opens with the following lyrics: “When I was a kid Uncle Remus would put me to bed, with a picture of Stonewall Jackson above my head…”
  • Mark Cathey, Scalawag: He graduated from Univ. of Virginia and Washington and Lee Law School. He served on the Equity Task Force. He has a totally over-educated by the Establishment and “cucked” look about him.
  • Elizabeth Jamison, Scalawag: She has a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Vanderbilt University and a P.H.D. in Social and Political Theory from Virginia Tech-obviously this last degree was the “coup de grace” to distance her from the mostly lower and lower-middle class white Southerners whose parents make up the shrinking white population in the school.
  • Laura D. Rottenborn, Carpetbagger: She earned her Juris Doctor from Stanford Law School and previously worked in Chicago, Ill.-a non-Southerner, for sure. Her most “profound” comment was that “she would not want her son to grow up to be like someone who fought to uphold slavery.”
  • Dick Willis, Scalawag: While apparently of Southern heritage, he attended Mass. Institute of Technology and is expected to be ordained this Fall as a Deacon in the Episcopal Church after having worked in youth activities-obviously a fully “cucked” Christian.

The overall estimated cost of changing the gym floor, uniform changes and signs is about $170,00 dollars-apparently a small price to pay for the ongoing “extreme makeover” of U.S. culture and society that is rapidly going on.

My main takeaway from what happened with the name change of Stonewall Jackson Middle School, along with many other cultural deconstructions going on in the South, is that there is no longer an alliance of upper and upper-middle class white Southerners with lower and lower-middle class whites, as was the case during the times of legal segregation in the South. With the exception of William B. Hopkins, Jr., who still represents such an alliance, the other two whites from the South, with an advanced education and high socio-economic status, went along with the prevailing culture of the times, which is basically the one imposed by the Jewish cultural elite. The acculturation process is now pretty much nationwide, with some holdouts like Hopkins trying to stem the tide but it looks like Z.O.G. is in a “mopping up” operation in the South after having already gotten total control in the rest of the nation.

In my opinion, this is why I see it’s pretty hopeless at this point to appeal any more to whites attending universities with intellectuals on the Racial Right like Richard Spencer and others. Maybe it’s worth trying to be a “William F. Buckley, Jr.” type to try to advance our ideas there, but I doubt there will be many minds changed at this stage. The main recruitment is going to have to come from lower and lower-middle class whites, most of whom won’t have had a college or university education-and given the cultural influences at work in advanced education this is probably for the better. As far as those in leadership at this time, they should probably have a university degree and other advanced studies to be able to dialogue and be able to handle the tricks Z.O.G. always has “up its sleeve,” but they will need to be “men of the people” and more rooted in the soil and the folkways of rural and small town society in areas the present cultural elite call “flyover country.”
