The Fallacy of ‘Foquismo’

by Paul Jones

It’s clear that there are still small groups among the Racial Right in the U.S., and other still predominantly white countries of the world, who are tempted by “foquismo,” which is a theory of guerrilla warfare advocated by Che Guevara and Fidel Castro. My view is that it is a tactic which almost always leads to disaster.

The theory, as explained by the website “Marxism in Latin America,” is that “Revolutionaries must create subjective conditions for revolution rather than awaiting the proper objective conditions.” So a revolutionary vanguard is supposed to act ahead of the masses and, by their heroic acts, inspire the not yet fully awakened people out of their lethargy so that they will then support and follow this vanguard.

But the proper tactic is really shown by a scene from one of the best films of all time, “Doctor Zhivago,”  based on the novel by Victor Nabokov and starring Omar Sharif and Julie Christie, in which W.W. I has just broken out and newly enlisted soldiers are marching along the streets of Moscow on their way to the Eastern Front. A Bolshevik Party member has been recruited by the party to enlist and “…organize defeat. From defeat would spring the revolution. And the revolution would be victory for us. The party looked to the conscript peasant, most of whom were wearing a new pair of boots for the first time in their lives…” As the war progressed, and Russian losses against the Germans became unsustainable and supply lines were cut, the boots wore out and soldiers often had to find a weapon from a fallen comrade. “…When the time came, I was able to take two battalions with me out of the front lines, the best day’s work I ever did…When enough of the armies started going home, that was the beginning of the revolution.”

Applying this to the situation in the United States at present, I see the “conscript peasants” as the working class of whites who still enjoy a certain amount of “creature comforts” in a country which is economically First World. Like the conscripts in the film, “Doctor Zhivago,” they still have their “new boots” and are going ahead with their daily lives, mostly oblivious to what is really happening socially and politically. But when “the boots wear out” and a collapse of the economy causes enough of them to become destitute, at that point they will stop blindly “marching ahead” and will finally listen to the Racial Right leaders and become essentially a revolutionary army ready to confront Z.O.G.

But if a Racial Right vanguard of relatively few individuals tries to practice “foquismo,” without waiting for the objective conditions of the white masses to change, they are going to get nowhere. They’ll be on the path of Che Guevara, who went to Bolivia in 1966 and thought that with a few dedicated revolutionaries they could stir up the peasants to join in his cause. Instead, very few came over to his side, and his small group was eventually cornered and captured by the Bolivian Army and Che was subsequently executed.

So while I know that there are some who are anxious and frustrated at the slow pace of awakening of the vast majority of the whites in this country, while those of us already in the ranks of the Racial Right can see clearly the fate of our people which is planned for them, realistically speaking the only pragmatic approach is to try and keep waking them up in the hope that a collapse of the present economic system occurs which will be the objective condition necessary for a white revolution against Z.O.G. to gain traction. At that point enough whites will begin to “desert” the present anti-white system to allow a successful confrontation with the Zionist power structure.
