For the first time since an election 30 years ago, Arizona will have a Democratic Senator. It was a close race, but a loss for the Republicans nonetheless. So now all the Southwest is Blue, with the exception of Utah which is Mormon and Texas which is surely going to be the next domino to fall. New Mexico has seen whites as a minority group for the longest time, Colorado has had its percentage of whites decrease steadily as well, and with California around the turn of the century having pretty much become the land of Aztlan in most areas, it looks like the territorial takeover of the Southwest by the Chicanos is not far from completion.
Aztlan is a term used for the entire region, from which according to legend the original migrants who arrived at the present-day area of Mexico City came. Chicanos is a more radical term than Mexican-Americans, with La Raza being their extreme political wing, and they are the main Hispanic group in the Southwest. With the growing mainly Chicano control of the region, various icons of white culture have fallen. John Wayne, famous to all in movies like “True Grit” and his famous term “Howdy, pilgrim” when talking to someone he met, has been declared persona non grata in California since at some point in his life there was found a quote which supposedly denigrated American Indians. Father Junipero Serra, the Franciscan priest responsible for establishing the chain of missions in that state in the 1700’s, had red paint sprayed on a statue erected in his honor.
If Texas gets taken over by the Chicanos, as has already happened in California, I’m sure the Alamo will be seen by future students of U.S. History as simply the defense of slavery by a bunch of evil, white racists who had interloped into Texas from areas of the South.
White flight is likely to accelerate from these Southwestern states, except for Utah where the Mormons will likely be able to hang on. At the same time geography will likely play an important role in Balkanization since the Sonora Desert extends about halfway up the state of Arizona and that’s where the majority of Chicanos are concentrated. Once you move further north from Phoenix there begins high plateaus and eventually mountains in the north around Flagstaff, and the northern half of the state is where the highest percentage of whites live, aside from the northeastern area where the Hopi and Navajo Reservations are. Natural geographic barriers will play a role in any Balkanization process. In the case of Nevada, similar questions of geography could divide the state in two, since the southern part around Las Vegas is where the highest percentage of Chicanos live, whereas the northern areas near Reno with its mountains and Elko further to the east have the greatest numbers of whites.
In any case, whites are in a “race against time,” and odds get worse with each passing year for any realistic ability to hold out in the Southwest, especially if only the numbers of whites or Chicanos under 30 are considered-those who are in prime age to participate in defense of their respective groups, if necessary.

How the hell did this happen to us – a takeover of the entire Southwest! At one point white people were urged to stay put at times like these but that turned out to be a hugely unreasonable expectation for the poor beleaguered white families who quite naturally wanted nothing to do with the sub-norm races moving in.
