Surveying the Political Landscape

The excitement is mounting with each passing day as the November mid-term elections approach. While I read several prognosticators who think the Democrats are likely to take back the House, with the Republicans continuing to keep control of the Senate, I think that when the votes are finally counted the Republicans will be able to maintain a slim majority in the House, though likely losing ten or fifteen seats.

The famous phrase, “It’s the economy, stupid,” used during the election campaign of Bill Clinton in 1992, appears to apply today. The economy under Trump, for whatever reasons, has been doing well and that should be the “bottom line” which allows him to be able to continue to work with Republican majorities in both Houses of Congress.

There’s also what I call the “self-respecting white” factor. With all the antics going on in the Democratic Party, what normal white person can vote for a Democrat? We know that the culture wars are still going on in full force and the “political middle” continues to drop out. The Democratic Party is becoming a “no party for white men” with a vengeance, and the recent Primary elections have shown that certainly to be the case: There is the black woman who is the nominee for governor in the state of Georgia who would like to sandblast the Confederate leaders off of Stone Mountain, Georgia. Then there is the black nominee for governor in Florida who is as radical Left as they come, the Hispanic woman, House candidate from New York City who is basically a Communist and wants to abolish the government agency controlling immigration so as to have open borders. I won’t bother to mention all the Gay, Democratic candidates, but there are scores of them. In the case of Sean Patrick Maloney, who is presently a Democratic representative from New York but is now candidate for Attorney General nominee for that state in the Primaries coming up on Thursday, Sept. 13^th, ads show he and his partner’s two adopted black girls primarily to attract the minority vote. In fact, the best thing a white male can do if he has no racial self-respect and wants to run as a Democrat is to pull a “DeBlasio,” marry a black woman and have mulatto children as the present Mayor of the City of New York has done.

To give you an idea of how deracinated this mayor is, a commission has been set up by the New York City Council to study whether the large statue to Christopher Columbus at the southern tip of Central Park is an offense to minorities and should be taken down, since as we all know he would make it to the list of “dead white males” who were once part of the “cancer of History” as Susan Sontag put it. The Italian-American voters in New York City are by now quite disgusted by DeBlasio’s not taking a stand on supporting the statue’s remaining in the park.

Then there are the “Irregulars” among the Democratic fold, the extremists who pulled down the statue of the Confederate soldier, Silent Sam, on the campus of the University of North Carolina at Durham. The Leftists on college and university campuses will surely continue to deny free speech to anyone considered “controversial” by them, and there is going to continue to be a stricter definition of political correctness to measure whether students should be allowed to hear positions opposing the agenda of Anti-Fa, Black Lives Matter and Dreamer supporters. These students on campuses will keep on doing things to offend the average white man or woman, people who Nixon referred to as the Silent Majority and who Trump sees now as the Noisy Majority.

While I realize that we’re not going to “vote our way out of this mess” given the increasingly adverse demographic changes for European-Americans which will continue to go on in the upcoming months and years, and the long term trends show Balkanization as our only realistic option, I still think that in the short term it’s in the best interests of whites that the Republicans continue to control both Houses of Congress since it will cause the Left to go completely berserk if this turns out to be the case when the votes are finally counted on Nov. 6^th.

My sense is that at least over the next few months until the elections take place, whites should do all they possibly can to support Republican candidates so that by maintaining control of both Houses we can encourage the speed and extent of the radicalization of the U.S. political system, something that will help in the Balkanization process.
