The Iron Curtain Over America

by Paul Jones

A book that serious students of American History should read is “The Iron Curtain Over America” by John Beaty. This book, published originally in 1951 and now available in a recent, accessible edition, has a wealth of information about U.S. and world events.

Perhaps the best way to show the impact of the book, which was published back in the year when the Korean War was still raging, is this quote from a pamphlet written by Gerald L.K. Smith in 1958, “Matters of Life and Death”:

“…in the year 1951 something sensational happened. Colonel John Beaty, who had been one of the very top men in military intelligence during World War II and was then the head of the English Department in one of America’s great universities (Southern Methodist University) brought the first edition of his magnificent book, “The Iron Curtain Over America” off the press…With documentation unexcelled in any book I have ever seen, it established beyond even the mildest peradventure of a doubt that Jew immigrants coming out of Russia, Eastern Europe and elsewhere have captured control of great segments of American society, including politicians, religious leaders, cultural leaders, artists, journalists, etc., etc. (pp. 48-49)

Each individual reader will come upon facts and information that will be of particular interest, such as the Khazarian origin of most modern-day Jews. In my case, having taught U.S. History at the high school level for several years, I was startled to find out more about how the United States totally “pulled the rug out” from under Chiang Kai-shek and the Nationalist Chinese forces in their struggle against Mao Zedong and the Communists in China.

In this 2016 reedition  of Beaty’s book by Paul Bondarovski and Deuteronomy Book Publishers, it is pointed out that the final blow to the Nationalist cause came when “…under Mr. Dean Acheson, who succeeded Marshall as Secretary of State (January, 1949) our pro-Soviet policy in China was not reversed! Chiang had been holding on somehow, but Acheson slapped down his last hope. In fact, our Secretary of State-possibly by some strange coincidence-pinned on the Nationalist Government of China the term ‘reactionary’ (August 6, 1949), a term characteristically applied by Soviet stooges to any unapproved person or policy, and said explicitly that the United States would give the Nationalist Government no further support.

Meanwhile, the Soviet had continued to supply the Chinese Communists with war materiel at a rate competently estimated at eight to ten times the amount per month we had furnished-at the peak of our aid-to Chiang’s Nationalists. Chiang’s troops, many of them without ammunition, were thus defeated, as virtually planned by our State Department, whose Far Eastern Bureau was animated by admirers of the North Chinese Communists.” (pp. 146-147) (Another book which goes thoroughly into the China fiasco was written by Senator Joseph R. McCarthy, “America’s Retreat from Victory, The Story of George Catlett Marshall”)

The book by Beaty also includes discussion of the Korean War, which includes the same bands of perfidious traitors at the upper levels of U.S. government installed to sabotage that war, as well as much information regarding domestic U.S. politics and how Jews with pro-Leftist intentions were involved heavily in such activities.

Knowing how subsequent historical events played out, it can be a little depressing to read how the author still thought matters could be turned around by well-meaning American patriots, but nonetheless I believe this book is a must read for those on the Right in these dire times.
