What will you do, when they come to take your guns?

What if you lived in a country where anyone who was triggered by something you said to them, or believed which they disagreed with, or posted online, could call the police and say that you were dangerous, or offended them, and have a SWAT team pile down on your house to confiscate your firearms in the middle of the night? What if that  country was this one, tomorrow?

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The conversation about how to curb gun violence in Arkansas continued at the capitol Monday.

Two Democrats presented a bipartisan plan to their colleagues for the first time ahead of the 2019 legislative session, which starts in January.

(Two Democrats? Bipartisan? Oh, right, they have some cucked RINOs on board, to suck up to Asshole Asa.)

Rep. Greg Leding and Sen. Will Bond have drafted their own red flag law. It would temporarily seize guns from Arkansans who are deemed dangerous.Connecticut has had a red flag law on the books since 1999. Twelve more states have jumped on board since, most after the Parkland mass shooting in February…

(Virtue signalling. Then the two anti-2nd amendment pieces of shit start sniveling about the children and how it won ‘t be permanent and their feelz, while they rape both the second and fifth amendment. You know, those parts about people’s rights to keep and bear arms NOT BEING INFRINGED and people not being deprived of their property without due process? )

…Law enforcement would take away the weapons for 72 hours, then a judge would decide to give the weapons back or extend the temporary restriction.

Leding pointed out that gun owners in other states have to wait 14 to 21 days before appearing in front of a judge.

“We want to make sure that when we are talking about constitutional rights that we move as quickly as possible because due process is a very key component of any red flag legislation,” Leding said.

Here, in this video, we see Leding aggressively attempting to physically intimidate his Republican opponent, angrily bowing up on her and invading her personal space, then grabbing her by the shoulder. His actions look pretty dangerous, to me. We don’t think he should be allowed to have firearms.

Also unlike other states, the bill would punish people who falsely report a gun owner. They would face a felony.

Rep. Kim Hammer, R-Benton, asked if the legislation would make it easier for law-abiding citizens to conceal carry. Leding said he was neutral on that for now, weighing that as a possibility.

(How in the hell would allowing people’s guns to be confiscated at the whim of anyone who doesn’t like them make it easier to concealed carry? Oh, we get it, we all have to conceal our guns in order to keep them. Cool. Good idea, thanks!)

Sen. Alan Clark, R-Lonsdale, asked if it could apply only to those gun owners who wish to harm themselves.

“While we do feel that suicide is an important component of that, we don’t want to have potentially missed an opportunity to address those other situations,” Leding responded.

(Such as the situation which arose on April 19th, 1775, when law enforcement received reports that some citizens who were potentially dangerous had stockpiled illegal firearms in Lexington, right?)

The Trump administration and the NRA have thrown their support behind red flag laws. The ACLU has come out against them, worrying they could harm more gun owners than intended.

In Arkansas, Gov. Asa Hutchinson has said he is open to them.

(Weak attempts to appeal to authority. Hey, guess what, only CivNat Tories who will meekly surrender their weapons when your enforcers come care what Trump or Asa or the NRA say.)

Leding and Bond have also drafted a bill that would raise the age to 21 to purchase an assault weapon.

If this bill passes, we’re going to organize mass letter-writing campaigns and phone calls and e-mails reporting Leding and Bond as being dangerous because they are tyrants who want to disarm law-abiding citizens. To be more clear, they want to have a bunch of mercenaries use their guns to rob other people of theirs, depriving them of their Constitutionally protected rights. Why else would you want to disarm someone at gun point, unless you had dangerous intent? That legitimately makes these two state legislators much more dangerous than someone who pisses you off on the internet. Since, as we have seen, people have literally not only had their property stolen but been killed due to these red flag laws, that’s about as personally dangerous as it gets. They want to put our lives at risk, and yours. Leding and Bond, and Asa and Trump, and the NRA and their collaborators are the real dangers.

So, what will you do, when they come to take your guns?
