While more and more White Americans are gravitating rightwards from conservatism and the Alt Right towards the Balk Right, recognizing the inevitability of balkanization and preparing for it, many Americans are still mired in Civic Nationalism. For them, political interest and activism is heightened in election years, and subsides somewhat during mid-term years in between. That is why an informed observer can expect polarization and division to actually increase over the next twelve to eighteen months, as we approach the 2020 election.

An author of both fiction and nonfiction books, Billy Roper is a former high school and junior high History, Civics, Economics, and Geography teacher. He has been a candidate for public office, a lifelong political activist, leader, and spokesman. Mr. Roper has a Bachelor’s degree in History and Political Science and a Master of Liberal Arts degree in History with a specialty in Anthropology.
