Three young men are being prosecuted in Pope County, Arkansas, for allegedly attempting to stop a child predator.
John, Julian, and Nicholas, all under thirty, face charges of 2nd degree battery, standing accused of intervening when an adult male came to their home late at night believing he would be meeting with a fifteen year old child whom he had been grooming online. According to police reports, when the three young men confronted the attempted child predator and prepared to phone the police to come and arrest him, an altercation ensued. The attempted child predator was allowed to leave the residence, and did so before the police arrived after being called to arrest him for, as graphic irrefutable evidence will clearly show should the case go to trial, coming there with the expressed intent to pick up a fifteen year old boy and take him off to have sex, repeatedly stipulating that due to the age factor the fifteen year old could not tell anyone or involve the police.

This whole incident in Atkins had a personal impact on me. I was hesitant to share at first. I just wanna say what my father was. And what he mostly got away with. And how much he was supported while I was not. As a little girl I had no one I could trust to confide in. I used to wish someone would come beat him up or better yet kill him, honestly…
He was finally exposed when my best friend that I’d confided in told her guidance counselor at school what I’d been going through all childhood long.
The state took the case because I was a minor and with his lawyers help he was only found guilty of one out of 3 charges. He passed away ten years ago of liver cancer. I have been on my own since highschool, not really having much family support, not ever understanding why until I discovered just a few years ago that he told the extended family I had made up horrible lies, that I was a rebellious teen.
I know first-hand the hell a child goes through, all life long, being a victim of pedophilia.
I see these men in Sheild Wall taking a stand and fighting to protect children the way they ought to be protected.
Maybe that pedophiler and other peds who heard this story will think twice before laying a pervert finger on a child ever again. So, thank you, to:

As to the incident itself, there are brave men in the United Kingdom doing this exact kind of citizen activism. Because, you know, the police are too bust searching for thought criminals. I believe the police there discourage it; but do not, I think, prosecute the vigilantes who are DOING THEIR JOB.
