The Gathering Storm

 by Paul Jones

Since U.S. History is what we mainly have to work with when trying to figure out whether a new civil war is on the horizon, I took some time to review more carefully the decades leading up to the conflict that broke out in 1861.

It seems certain that the “trigger mechanism” that set off the South to secede from the Union was the election of Lincoln in 1860. The policies of this newly elected Republican president meant that the South’s days were numbered since slavery was going to be confined only to those states where it existed up to then, and over time with new territories petitioning to become free states, the voting power of the North and its Abolitionist Movement would not only be strengthened in the House, but the Senate as well. From a balance of pro-slavery and anti-slavery senators still remaining in that election would inevitably come eventual control of both Senate and House by the North. It was thus a “now or never” situation for the South, and out of this sense of desperation came the formation of the Confederate States of America.

Those whites who are aware and concerned nowadays about the changing political shifts in the U.S. that have resulted from a growing non-white population and a shrinking white one are close to seeing a president from the Democratic Party reaching power who represents the so-called Progressive wing of the party, or really another way of saying anti-white.

While Joe Biden would not be the Lincoln equivalent if he were eventually nominated by the Democrats and go on to win the presidency, almost all the rest of the field are in this radical mold which would set off such a present-day “trigger mechanism.” While up to the first Democratic debate it looked like Biden was “riding high in the saddle,” the attack by Kamala Harris on the supposed insensitivity of Biden to the racial agenda of the Progressives is showing up in recent polling as having been effective.

According to a poll by ABC News and “Washington Post” of July 3rd, results in percentages of support are the following: Biden 30; Harris 13; Sanders 19; Warren 12. An “Economist” and YouGov poll of the same date shows these results: Biden 23; Harris 15; Sanders 9; Warren 19. An earlier CNN poll of July 1st shows the following: Biden 22; Harris 17; Sanders 14; Warren 15.

There is a long way until the presidential field gets narrowed by early 2020, but this strong support of Progressive candidates and what appears to be weakening support for Biden certainly indicates at this point that a Leftist, totally anti-white candidate is going to eventually be the Democratic nominee for president.

Even whites who are aware of the consequences of the loss of political power due to living in states that already reflect this in dramatic ways, such as California, New York and others like it where the Republican Party will never regain power due to racial shifts, at least can hold on to the hope that with a Trump presidency the onslaught at the national level can at least be held in check for a while longer. But if, for example, Kamala Harris or Elizabeth Warren were to be nominated and defeat Trump in 2020, even the most ardent optimists would realize that the U.S. had become “Californiaized” and was beyond redemption at that point. There would be no more “white flight” options that would allow them to avoid this new reality since the entire country would have been taken over by Leftist forces.

When the racial consequences of more and more extreme anti-white policies coming from the Democratic Party were seen by law after law passed by a new Liberal-Minority coalition in Congress and then enforced by the executive branch, the long awaited reaction by enough whites would finally come about. It would be far from a relatively orderly process, as was the secession by the South from the Union in the months following the election of Lincoln in 1860, but the “gathering storm” would have arrived and organizations like the Shield Wall Network, who had anticipated coming events, would have a base from which to work with the large increase of whites who would have finally realized that white ethno-states were the only hope since politics on the national level had become a total lost cause. While the interesting and well-written Northwest novels by Harold Covington see revolutionary vanguards operating clandestinely and having grown out of increasing radical oppression of whites, I believe the reality is that there will be a much broader and out in the open type of mobilization of our people that will eventually allow new white enclaves to be created.

While I still have to admit that in my “heart of hearts” I would prefer Trump to win again in 2020 so as to “buy more time,” from a Realpolitik point of view as far as a “wake up call” to enough whites it appears that only a defeat of Trump and victory by a Democratic Progressive will be the catalyst necessary for this to take place.
