Over the subsequent twelve months, leading up to the November 2020 election, polarization and division will only increase, as rhetoric from both sides heats up. All one has to do is take a look around at how bitter and existential the struggle is already, 15 months out, to imagine how it will be once the primaries begin. That’s true, regardless of who the Democratic candidate is.
Here is an excellent new article called ‘Igniting Civil War’ from the American Greatness website. No, it’s not a how-to manual, it’s a history lesson of how it has already been lit.
Some on the right, afraid of conflict of any kind, are suggesting that White Nationalists bow out and keep their heads down, lest we be scapegoated. Imagine members of the Sons of Liberty deciding to avoid controversy in order to escape the attention of the British? In truth, what these CONSERVATIVES fear is the upsetting of the status quo which has made them comfortable. They fear risk. They are beginning to anticipate sacrifice, and it makes them uneasy. They are the “sunshine patriots” written of by Thomas Paine during another American Crisis.
For those who prefer watching a video to reading an article, here is an audiovisual discussion of the abovementioned American Greatness piece, describing how we are entering a phase which will be similar to the Spanish Civil War of the 1930s.
Meanwhile, on the left, those who say that the government, the establishment, society, culture, and law enforcement are all deeply racist and fascist want to grant the elite more power to seize firearms from law abiding citizens without due process and decide arbitrarily who is mentally competent to have a second amendment based on the vagaries of shifting political correctness. Uh-huh.
The Washington Examiner amplifies Fox TV commentator Tucker Carlson’s observation that rhetorical extremism from the left is also fueling the coming civil war, and yes, they use that terminology to describe the coming conflict, as well.
Many people give the Jewish controlled left wing media more credit for influence than they actually have away from the coasts. Fox News is the most popular national tv news in a universally shrinking market, in terms of viewership, with hosts like Carlson easily trumping his liberal competitors with three-four million viewers. Rush Limbaugh has 24 million listeners every day, many more than any liberal source. Most people are not left wing activists, they are conservative by nature, meaning resistant to any change, so they placidly absorb establishment conservative feedback. They aren’t going tankie on us.
The perceived power of the controlled media comes from their influence over politicians, who think that the media represents the will of their constituents back home, when in reality the voters back home just care about how many jobs and boondoggles their Congresscritter can scrape up for them through pork-barrel projects and Federal block grants. That greed trickles down to the state legislators, too, which is what makes Trump and the establishment RINO GOP so insidious in their desire to pass a bill granting our tax dollars as Federal law enforcement grants (meaning less taxes, or less increased taxes, would have to be absorbed by local taxpayers who either vote for those state legislators, or don’t) to states which pass anti-second amendment ‘Red Flag Laws’.
The problem is, at this stage, they would still depend on local law enforcement to enforce those Red Flag Laws…you know, the local law enforcement which Antifa so despises and attacks at every opportunity. As the American Greatness article forecasts:
“At a certain point, the other side shoots back. Here as elsewhere, the several police forces may be expected to split and take opposite sides. Then the army’s special forces become the arbiters, and the war rages.
We know that our ruling class having largely made government into a partisan thing, America has crossed the threshold of revolution. While we have no way of knowing what lies ahead, we know that the spiral of political violence has already taken its first fateful turns, and that the logic of our partisan ruling class is pushing for more.”
